Vladimyr Derisier

While studying psychology at the University of MA, Amherst, Vladimyr joined the UMass Ballroom Dance Team and competed in International Latin. As an avid dancer on the collegiate scene, his pursuits in dancesport brought him back east to Boston where he was fortunate to work with talented coaches and became a (founding) member of the RLJ Showdance and Formation Team, which performed at major events locally and across the United States.

In 2006 Vlad decided to broaden talents and joined Unyted Stylz's “US Crew”- A local-based dance troupe, known for its intricate choreography and strong hip-hop foundation. US Crew has performed at numerous events around New England.

Vlad and his partner, Lindsay Norton, enjoyed success as top amateur finalists including: 2010 Manhattan Amateur Classic Champions, Eastern Amateur Adult Open Champions and the 2010 USA Dance National Amateur Rhythm Champions. Vlad has always had a love for dance and aspires to continue sharing his passion with others through teaching and performing.
