Engaged? Start Dancing!

Are you one of the happy couples who got engaged over the holidays? If you’re jumping into 2018 with a new ring and a long list of  to-do’s then we suggest you tackle one of the most fun parts of wedding planning and DANCE!

It’s never too early to start practicing your first dance. Especially if you don’t want it to look rehearsed. The only way to make your performance look natural is with time and practice.

Like anything else, the more you practice, the better you’ll be. So, if you want to be the next YouTube sensation then a year’s worth of dance classes is likely what you’ll need. In twelve months we’ll teach you twists, turns, lifts and more!

However, if you’re looking for something a bit simpler then three to four months of training will do.

We recommend you take one class a week. It’s the perfect frequency! Your classes are far enough apart so you won’t be overwhelmed. However, they’re close enough together so you’ll remember what you learned the week before.

After three to four months (or ten to twelve classes) of basic ballroom choreography, you’ll be gliding across the dance floor like a pro!

That being said, if you just want to learn a few new steps and have some fun while doing it then five to seven lessons (or two months) is perfect for you. You won’t look as natural on the dance floor but you’ll still relieve some wedding planning stress. That’s why dancing is the perfect excuse to step away from your to-do list and have fun with your partner before the big day!
